Since the beginning of technology, always the mission was to make visual content more and more immersive in a way that could be experienced as something real.
From making the TV in colour, to making it with a bigger screen and better sound, until the 3D effects.
It is as we would like to go inside the screen.

Extended reality and virtual reality technology take that idea to another level. With this technology, we can literally go inside the screen or even take the screen with us into the real world.

This course will address the different aspects of this technology to give the student a wide and comprehensive knowledge of it.

In this module, we will make an introduction to the course. In that way, we will present you the basic concepts about XR and VR. After that, we will look at the history and the evolution of this technology.
