INTERCONNECT PRINCIPLES

BASIC LEVEL – 1.1. Interconnect Programme
THIS COURSE IS AVAILABLE:

What will you learn?

This course introduces students to the field of interconnect. It seeks to instill an understanding and appreciation of the rationale for interconnect, commercial & operational aspects, legal and regulatory considerations, contract formulation, underlying engineering principles, and future evolution in this area.

This module introduces the subject of Interconnect with a glimpse into the origins of establishment of connectivity between telephone networks. It then builds on this basic understanding by introducing in a logical way the various commercial, operational and regulatory aspects that define the Interconnect ecosystem.
